Richard W. Sammons, CPA, CMA
Rick Sammons has over 13 years experience guiding
companies toward successful financial and accounting

Richard W. Sammons was the Controllership Manager
at a large local CPA Firm for two years. He spent
twelve years in corporate accounting at
manufacturing, distribution, service and software
development companies, seven years in corporate
auditing with an insurance company, and three years
in public accounting. He received his accounting
degree from the University of Cincinnati, his
CPA in 1991 and his
CMA in 2003.
Rick is experienced in dealing with the accounting
and reporting needs of manufacturers, distributors,
construction and service organizations with revenues
ranging from $1 to $40 million. His expertise
includes working on company budgeting and forecasting
reports, capital equipment purchases, vendor
contracts, sales tax issues, coordination of external
auditors work and conversions of accounting software
programs.
His work at continuous improvement enables him to
reduce a company's cost structure through
incorporation of efficient and effective procedures
and reduce procedural time to perform routine
accounting functions and to identify the
opportunities for the company to reduce costs or
increase revenue opportunities.
Rick currently serves as President of the Lincoln
Trail Regional Council of the Institute of Management
Accountants. He served six years on the board of the
Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and five years as
President of the Northern Kentucky Chapter of the
Institute of Management Accountants.
Rick enjoys playing softball, practicing Yoga, and
reading Clive Cussler and Star Wars Books. He and his
wife, Mona, both life long residents of Hamilton
County, reside in Kenwood.
